Home Buying for Single Moms

I pay a lot of attention to search engine trends. By keeping tabs on what people are searching for online (as it relates to home buying), I can better serve those researchers by publishing information in direct response to their wants and needs. In other words, it helps me provide the kind of home buying information that people want.

The other day I noticed that the term "single mom" is often searched in combination with various home-buying phrases. For example, "home buying programs for single moms" is searched quite frequently, as is "single moms buying a home."

This tells me two things: (1) There are a lot of single moms out there researching the home buying process, and (2) I need to help these people by offering advice and resources.

So here we go!

The information that follows is the result of spending more than five hours online, researching home buying information specific to single moms -- articles, forums, groups, and other web-based resources. At the very least, I hope this helps you find what you're looking for while also saving you time.

This entertaining post on a "Single Ma's" blog answers the question, can a single mom buy a home? (Of course, we all know that a single mom is perfectly capable of buying a home ... this blog just does a good job reiterating the point.
